Folders

Your child is supposed to check his or her folder as soon as they get in the classroom in the morning. It is a good idea for you to check your child's folder at some point in the evening. They pack their folder themselves and I try my best to tell them which side papers go on.

 

Art Shirt- (maybe)

Your child will also need a paint shirt to remain at school. It will be used during art class and when we paint in our classroom. This should be an old shirt that you won’t mind throwing away at the end of the year. Usually, you can see the hand prints where they wipe the paint off of their hands!

Absences

If your child is absent from school, please send in an excuse stating the reason for the absence and the date.  This excuse needs to be received within three days of the absence.  If you are planning a family vacation, please send in an excuse ahead of time for approval.
